Dr. Schopflocher was trained as a research Psychologist focusing on personality and psychological measurement and completed his MA and PhD at the University of Alberta. He worked as a researcher in the Department of Neurpopsychology at the Alberta Hospital Edmonton Psychiatric Treatment Centre for eight years, as a biostatistician for the Health Surveillance Branch, Alberta Health and Wellness for over ten, and as the Director of Research at the Institute of Health Economics for two. In 2008, he became an Associate Professor and is now jointly appointed to the School of Public Health and the Faculty of Nursing.
